Auckland, NZ – The Mana Andhra Telugu Association Inc. (MATA) is bringing the community together for a grand Dussehra and Diwali Celebration on Friday, 26 September 2025 at the Fickling Convention Center (Senior Citizens Chamber). The festivities will begin at 6.30 PM onwards.

Themed around “Celebrating the triumph of good over evil. Jai Mata Di!”, the event promises a vibrant cultural evening filled with tradition, music, and dance.

  • 💃 Garba and Dandiya – an invitation to bring your dancing spirit
  • 🍴 A delicious Indian dinner with festive flavours

The celebrations will reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Telugu community in Aotearoa while welcoming everyone to join in the festive spirit of togetherness.

Mr. Bujje Babu Nelluri, President of MATA Inc., and Mr. Sushwanth Sai Konigeti, General Secretary, along with the MATA Inc. Core Committee, extend a warm invitation to families and friends across Auckland to participate in this colourful evening.
