A nationwide dumpling trail has opened across New Zealand, inviting diners to explore participating restaurants and rate their experiences.
The Great New Zealand Dumpling Trail runs from 26 September to 17 October 2026 and includes venues from Dunedin to Whangarei.
Organiser Julia English says the campaign is a celebration of dumplings, culture and community, supported by the New Zealand Chinese Language Week Trust.
To participate, diners visit a participating restaurant, scan the campaign QR code and submit a review. Each valid review counts as one entry, with one review permitted per meal purchase.
According to the organisers, four participants with the highest number of valid reviews during the campaign will each receive a $100 food voucher.
The initiative is part of the New Zealand Chinese Language Week Trust's work to encourage engagement with Chinese language and culture in New Zealand.
